What I Wore: Dress: Material Girl (by Madonna), Sandals: Jessica Simpson, Bag: Kensie      Girl,Sunnies: Prada Baroque, Bracelets: Sariah's Jewels, Rings: Various (mostly purchased at TJMaxx)

Had a great day yesterday with my mom, dad, and bff. Before we head out to the beach/boardwalk area, we stayed cool in the mall nearby. Then ,we went to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings (first time there and i lovedddd it, but def not better then Hooters lol) The boardwalk was so relaxing. I live for moments like this, when you are in another world, and your mind has no time for negativity (eased and calm) <3<3  How was your weekend?

What I Wore: Dress: Forever 21, Belt: Express, Bag: Dooney & Bourke, Flip Flops: Havaianas, Sunnies: Prada

Last Saturday I took my parents to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. I love the whole nature vibe so this was one of the gardens I've been wanting to see. It was beautiful just as  described in the reviews. I wanted to see me more but unfortunately it was extremmmely hot and I was on fire by not even the first hour. Six hours really wore us all out. Hopefully in September or early October I can go back and finish seeing the rest of the garden. No heels for me this time since a lot of walking was expected. So you know the chancletas (flip-flops) had to come with me lol.  Enjoy the pictures!

Handbag Lover's Dream

Dreaming
So as you guys may know I am crazzzyyyy about handbags. I love them, but it goes beyond that. First I see it in the store...boom...I think about sooo many times  after I leave the store. When I get home, I spend countless hours researching it, reading reviews, and all this other weird stuff. Then of course i must bore my mom about it showing her how great it is and why i like it so much.I become obsessed. Let's not forget going on The Purse Forum (TPF). If you need advise, not sure what bag to choose or what color to go for, where to find that bag of your dreams or if you accidentally spilled something on your bag and you don't know what to do... these bag queens and kings WILL definitely point you in the right direction. Then if i feel this is the "one" (for right now lol).. i buy it.  Every bag I buy is carefully chosen. I try to make my collection as diverse as possible, meaning I do not want to end up having 20 black bags, but also remembering to keep it practical. I'm not going to buy a lime green purse wear it once and then never see it again because its stored away in my closet. You get me ? Anyways, here are a few bags im totally drooling over. 1) Is a Celine Mini Luggage. Soooooo cute. Looks like a robot to me. This bag is made from strong beautiful leather. 2.) YSL clutch. I'm not a fan of spelling out name brands on top of items such as clothing, accessories, etc. or even monogram prints but something about this bag just speaks to me. MAybe its because all of my bags are huge, and this definitely would be a nice addition to me collection. 3.) 2Jours by Fendi, It's so chic and structured. Has that Dr's bag kind of look. The tag could be embossed with your initials. 4.) PS11 by Proenza. It's boxy (which I love). It's small, yet very practical for a day out in the city since it's cross-body. (hands free) I could go on and on about bags but let me not ZZZZZzzzzZZ put you to bed. What bag are you lusting over?? Off to bed I go, bag Heaven here I come.

                                                                    xoxo,

What I Wore: Dress: Donna Morgan (similar), Booties: Nine West, Watch: Michael Kors, Earrings: Betsey Johnson, Bag: Yves Saint Laurent- Cabas Chyc (before saint laurent change), "Y "Necklace: Gift From my mom

This past Saturday I wore this summery dress which I thought would be appropriate for this event. Colorful, cheery, and comfy. I paired it up with black laser-cut booties which gave it a bit of an edge. I also took out my new baby for the first time. I bought this bag back in November when I found out  that YSL was changing to Saint Laurent, which meant different owner, designs, etc. I quickly purchased it and i do not regret it. I love this bag, plus its as if it was made for me. The "y" of course stands for Yves Saint Laurent, but it also stands for the "y" in Yesenia (<<< thats me lol). A match made in heaven. The color is beige so it goes with everything. Its definitely classic and very chic looking. I'm truly blessed to have the opportunity to get it when i did. It's hard to find this design now. After Hedi took over YSL, the cabas chyc was revamped. I personally prefer the older version. Now onto the necklace. My mom surprised me with this  gold "y" block pendant and chain. It's definitely hard finding anything with a "y", so my mom had this custom made for me. I love it and haven't taken it off since. Thanks mommy...MUAHHHHH <3

This past Saturday I attended the New Jersey Latina Bloggers Summer Meet. I had a great time chatting it up with the ladies. We ate, had some drinks, and laughed non stop. (but then again what do you expect when you put soo many Latinas in one spot). It was nice to meet women who not only share similarities but who also love blogging as much as I do. Mother nature was definitely on our side this Saturday. It was such a beautiful day and to top it off the event was held at a really nice bar patio. (yes this is a bar, how cute is it ??) Anyways towards the end we had tasty cupcakes and a goodie bag full of many beauty products (Thanks Alicia for making this all happen). Hope everyone
had a good weekend.
